I started the morning with a pedicure in Lake Havasu. Sheryl picked me up in the shiny clean Camry (that we still need to name). We went to breakfast at Juicy's Cafe.
Then I took off for Yuma, due south approx. 3 hrs. My cousins were there for the weekend. I was so excited to see Quartzite AZ. For those of you that have not seen it...it is a sea of RVs in the desert. Sorry traveling by myself I did not take photos. There was a big flea market on both sides of the hwy that slowed traffic down. Although the sight of the flea market was huge and the sea of RVs was impressive it was smaller than I remembered 12 years ago.
I made it to Grandma and Grandpa's house by 5pm. I was greeted by Grandma and Grandpa Opp and the Busher Family Dean and Sharon (G & G' Niece and her husband) and their children Jason, his wife Gabby, their son Drew, Cambria, and Andrea.
We all went out to pizza and chatted. I spent the night in G & G's fifth wheel trailer on the couch/bed. It was comfortable. The Bushers came over in the morning we all fit comfortably in G & G's winter home. We chatted for a few hours and we were entertained by Drew. Whew the energy of a 2 yr old. He is so adorable. We went to Mi Fajitas for our farewell lunch. It was so great catching up with the family! I had a great time until I swallowed my temporary crown.
On my way back to Lake Havasu I went through a boarder control check point even though I did not have drugs or Mexicans I was nervous. I arrived in Havasu around 7 pm.
Sheryl and I went out to a really nice dinner at Angelina's Italian.....so good.
