We stayed up late catching up and got up at 6:30 AM, Ed had to go to work. The sunrises are so beautiful in this polluted desert city. Thanks Ed for the hospitality!
Then Sheryl and I headed out to cruise Tempe AZ...My old stomping grounds. We drove around Tempe and ASU looking for breakfast. Nothing looked open or worth a stop. We decided to head to AZ Mills Mall area and on University St Sheryl spotted a small, hole in the wall cafe with lots of cars, Harlow's Diner We dined on a spanish style breakfast. Flower tortilla, hashbrowns, green chillies, eggs, salsa and sour cream (Sheryl had chorizo in her's). It was so good; we recommend it.
We went to AZ Mills for a couple of items. I got belts and I had my face threaded. Threading is a hair removal technique from India. They twist your hair in thread between their finger and as it unwraps it pull out the hair. It hurt much less than wax and is better for your skin.
After that we went to Otto's Pizza. This place is so dear to my heart. Safi and Reza were a big part of my young life. Safi used to tell me I would be rich one day and come back to order 20 pizzas. It made my heart feel warm to know that they are still there.

Next stop 201 Hermosa apt M202. Where Natalie, Reno and I lived with our roomie Martise. It brought back memories being here. Crazy times we had!
Here is the view from our door...oooh la la so fancy. The pool was so dirty we didn't use it.
We trekked on west on I-10 to Vicksburg and then cut north to Lake Havasu City, AZ. I got a little sun driving the first leg in 73 degree weather. Sheryl took over at Vicksburg and I took a nap.
Sheryl rented us a 3 bed house. It was so nice to unload the car and know that we did not have to pack up the next day. Wheeew! The house has a pool and a hot tub. The pool is way too cold to use. It makes a good back drop for pics. HA!

Oh man, M202 - that's where it all began - literally! Moved from rural Montana to Phoenix to live with two girls from Montana and a crazy Latvian/German/guy/person...
